Our District Camp to Lochearnhead in 2020 was cancelled due to the Covid lockdown.

We have been invited to organise another District Camp at Lochearnhead Scout Station in Central Scotland, which is owned by Hertfordshire County Scouts.

All Potters Bar & District Scouts, Explorers, Leaders and Network members are welcome to join the Camp.

Lochearnhead is a converted railway station that is situated about 30 miles north of Stirling, which features bunk accommodation for up to 60 people plus camping for a further 30 and access to the finest walking country in Central Scotland. The views over Loch Earn give a tantalising glimpse of water-based activities such as sailing, canoeing.  Cycling along a national cycle route that follows the upper railway line from Callandar through to Killin and beyond, will be available. We will also be visiting a local Highland Games.

We have already booked Lochearnhead Scout Station, the transport will have to be booked by December 2023.  We will  therefore require a deposit by Saturday 3rd December 2023, and a programme of easy payments to spread the cost will be issued later. Please note there are limited numbers for this trip and places will be issued on a ‘First come First Served’ basis, so book early!

If you are interested, then please contact your local scout group and you will be given a form to complete.
