Our District has invested in our own Badge Maker. It is free to use for any Potters Bar & District Scout Section as either a fun activity for young people or as a fundraiser.
The only cost will be in purchasing the consumables (badge backs, pins, badge fronts and plastic covers.) These are readily available from the manufacturers ( www.ebadges.co.uk )
What you need for each badge will cost about 8p, based on a supply for 100 badges, but this reduces if you buy bigger packs.
For the time being, Gordon will be looking after it and will keep a diary for bookings.
It is also available for hire to other Districts or local schools for a nominal hire charge of £10.
