Potters Bar & District’s 2023 AGM was held on the 25th September 2023.
The Annual General Meeting (AGM) is a compulsory yearly meeting of the Group/District/County/Area Scout Council with important legal aspects and key, mandatory business that must be covered. However it is also a time where we can showcase our year and what the District has been up to.
At the AGM we enjoyed a presentation from the three explorers who went to the 25th International Scout Jamboree in South Korea as well as a presentation from those who went the Kandersteg in August 2023. The explorers who went to the Jamboree also presented a couple of tables with items they had exchanged with other Scouts that they had met at the Jamboree. They all had a wonderful time, and it was excellent to hear from them and their experiences on the trips.
We would like to thank all those who attended, those who were appointed onto the District Trustee Board, as well as the Mayor of Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council for the municipal year 2023 – 2024, Councillor Pankit Shah.
