Cyclocross 2023...

After a number of years, due primarily to Covid the Potters Bar and District Cyclocross has been restarted. On Sunday 1st October, we had 26 cubs and 14 scouts taking part in the Potters Bar and District Cyclocross at “The Pits” in Little Heath, by kind permission of the owner. The weather was favourable and the going was quite firm underfoot – or should that be underwheel.
The Cubs event was won by Arthur from 1st LH&PB who came first with a time of 3 mins 17 seconds. The team results which were very close were as follows:-
Cub team times (top 3 results) 1st – 1st LH&PB team time 11 mins 5 seconds, 2nd Northaw team time 11 mins 20 seconds and North Mymms 11 mins 21 seconds.
The Scouts event was won by – Matthew from 1st Cuffley came first with a time of 2mins 16 seconds. The team results which were very close were as follows:-
Scouts teams times (top 3 results) 1st – 1st Cuffley 7 mins 34 seconds, 2nd N Mymms 11 mins 44 seconds and 3rd 2ndLH 17 mins 20 seconds.
